Re-Elect Christine Fajardo

The voice for Ward 4 residents and a unifying force getting things done for Manchester.

My ongoing commitment to my fellow Ward 4 neighbors:

While in City Hall, I’ve worked hard to solve real day-to-day problems for Ward 4 residents.

As your Alderwoman, I am a phone call or email away—available to you to help make city government more user-friendly. I work hard to build a quality of life that we can all feel good about.

Important Issues That Impact Us All

Healthy School District

Ward 4 is home to three of the Manchester School District’s 21 public schools, as well as Trinity High School. There’s good reason for all of us to care about the health and wellness of our schools—they are the foundation of a thriving community. And we all stand to gain from investments in our students, teachers, curriculum, and infrastructure.

Read my Letter to the Editor about why supporting our schools is something we should all care about.

Strong Economy

Manchester has potential to become a northeast extension of Boston’s thriving technology sector—we’re already on that path. But when we think about what it takes to attract businesses to our city, we must think about one of their most critical challenges: access to a talent pipeline full of diverse, well-qualified workers.

Education, transit, affordable housing, and access to resources are all variables that figure into this complex equation. To solve for it, we’ll need to think more strategically about the investments we make in our city—both today and into the future.

Proud Communities

When I think about what it means to live in Manchester, it all starts in our neighborhoods. Things like looking out for our neighbors, keeping our streets clean, safe, and walkable give us all a sense of pride and belonging.

As tax payers and residents, we each deserve services and resources that improve our quality of life and help us make progress—no matter where we’re at.

I look forward to the opportunity to hear directly from you about what you value, what’s important to you, and what your vision is for our community.

A Manchester Resident by Choice

Christine was born and raised in Sanford, ME. She and her husband, Nate Harvey—originally of Epping, NH—are residents in Ward 4’s Hanover Hill neighborhood. Christine and Nate moved to Manchester in Spring of 2017 after spending 17 years living and working in the Philadelphia region.

When they made the decision come home to be closer to their families, Christine and Nate chose Manchester.

“We immediately appreciated all that this city has to offer—its proximity to the mountains, the Seacoast, and Boston; its history and culture, its vibrant population, small businesses, and most notably—its potential!”
